“Avana is an acronym we chose, standing for Avvisi Ai Naviganti (Navigational Notices in English). Meanwhile, BBS means Bulletin Board System. It’s a computer that uses software to allow users to connect via modem (phone) from their own computers, providing the ability to use messaging systems and file sharing. However, a network of friendly BBS had been established, exchanging content once a day. This way, we crudely realized a system similar to mailing lists.” EduEDA
