Danger Falling Tear Gas

2012

On November 14, Wednesday, on Via Arenula in Rome, during the general strike day called by Cgil and Cobas, the student protest march passes under the headquarters of the Ministry of Justice. In a video published by Repubblica.it, tear gas canisters can be seen coming from the windows of the Ministry of Justice building onto the crowd. The Ministry has denied any responsibility.

“The installation of dozens of road signs indicating the danger of tear gas falling has been carried out tonight in Rome along Via Arenula, right in front of the Ministry of Justice. This way, pedestrians and motorists can be warned of accidental releases of irritant gas from the Ministry, the source of which is uncertain.”   La Repubblica
